This costume is a hypothetical on styling Lil Nas X, also known as Montero Lamar Hill, for a music video.
As an artist he has a strong personal brand and draws inspiration from a variety of cultures.
Through this project I explored the rich cultural influences of Matador and Mariachi attire and incorporated them into bold and playful design.
